There are two titles in regards to physical therapy that may cause some confusion. Physical therapists and occupational therapists. The two do cross fields, however, both therapists have a designed role toward aiding patients who need physical help after suffering an injury or disease.
That said, the basic difference is physical therapists are specially trained toward designing a physical plan in which will help mobilize whichever physical ailment is suffering. An occupational therapist is trained to help work with your physical ailment in your own environment.
